In 2004 two children's magicians had an idea: create an private group of children's entertainers who could raise the quality level of magic shows for children in the U.S.. David Kaye and Bruce Bray, two of the leading children's performers in the Northeast were regularly called upon to lecture and perform at magic conventions across the U.S.

They discovered that most children's magicians were mere hobbyists. And although many were very good, they were not interested in raising the bar for children's magic. Many were satisfied performing dated routines and stale tricks in their shows. They were not interested in learning some of the most important skills for performing for children - child psychology, audience management techniques, content innovation, and theatrical performance skills. The KGB was born.

The Kidshow Guru Braintrust

_      A tongue-in-cheek-name, KGB, or Kidshow Guru Braintrust has become the only worldwide mastermind group for children's magicians.  This invitation-only group now consists of some of the top magic scholars, comedy instructors, television personalities and touring magicians from around the globe. These performers continue to lecture and perform to their peers at international magic conventions, but also meet regularly with the goal of advancing the art of children's magic.
Recently, the world's most exclusive private magic organization, The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA honored the KGB members by calling them "The World's Best Children's Magicians" in their January 2011 Newsletter when they performed at this prestigious club.  And the best news? They continue to perfect their skills by performing shows in your area.  They are available for you to enjoy at your next event or party. Take a look at the current active and associate members:
